Yukiko Hashida

Yukiko Hashida was a 2023 PERC Lone Mountain fellow and an assistant professor in the Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics at the University of Georgia. Yukiko’s research focuses on climate change adaptation and natural resource use. One main research interest is policy design which incorporates the interaction between human adaptation and natural systems. Another interest is improving our resource use and adaptation decisions by integrating the ecosystem value of natural systems, including estimating climate change’s direct and indirect effects on natural systems such as wetlands and mangroves.
