Yifei Liu

Yifei Liu is a 2025 PERC graduate fellow and a Ph.D. candidate in the Agricultural and Applied Economics program at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Her research studies economic problems in energy infrastructure development, with a focus on the interconnection process, infrastructure permitting, and transmission planning in the United States. Prior to her doctoral studies, she earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, Berkeley. In her free time, she enjoys hiking and watching documentaries.
