Will McShane

Will McShane is a Master’s candidate in International Economics and Finance at Otto-von-Guericke-Universität Mageburg in Germany. He holds a B.A. in Psychology from Beloit College. As a research assistant to a development psychologist, he researched the healthcare needs of low-income families.

In his free time Will likes to cook, run, read, and prepare to move to a country where he does not speak the language. His previous workplaces include a fish processing plant, a county jail, a courtroom, a soap factory, a hospice, a college bar, and a French elementary school.

Will is particularly interested in how the careful consideration of incentives and well-defined property rights can lead to better environmental outcomes.
