Nicole was a 2022 PERC graduate fellow and is a Ph.D. candidate in Agricultural and Applied Economics at the University of Wisconsin Madison. Her research focuses on applied microeconomics as well as environmental, natural resource, and agricultural economics. She is interested in better understanding adaptation, recovery, and mitigation efforts in the face of natural disasters and climate change. Nicole is originally from the Chicagoland area. She enjoys exploring the natural world through birding, hiking, and rock climbing.
