Jamie Peeler
Jamie Peeler is a 2026 PERC Lone Mountain fellow and a researcher focused on wildfire risk, forest resilience, and climate impacts on people and ecosystems. She is a research scientist with the University of Montana, as well as an ORISE research fellow at the USDA Missoula Fire Sciences Laboratory in Missoula, MT. She holds a Ph.D. and an MS in Geography from the Pennsylvania State University and a BS in Biology from Duke University. Previously, she completed a post-doctoral fellowship with The Nature Conservancy’s NatureNet Science Fellows program. Her recent research includes collaborative work with federal and regional partners, integrating scientific analysis with applied management strategies to address evolving wildfire and carbon management challenges.
