Conner Harwood

Conner Harwood is a research associate at PERC. He recently graduated from Montana State University with an MS in applied economics and holds a BS in economics from the University of Michigan. During graduate school, he was awarded the most outstanding thesis for his work studying the relationship between water scarcity and legal conflict in Colorado. Conner is passionate about exploring cooperative solutions to the West’s environmental challenges through data and an economic lens, with a particular interest in water.

After growing up in northern Michigan, Conner moved west to become more active in his outdoor pursuits. Outside the office, you can find him snowboarding at Bridger Bowl, backpacking across deserts and mountains, and enjoying Bozeman with friends.
