Katie Doyle

Katie Doyle is PERC’s first conservation associate, working within the Conservation Innovation Lab to test creative conservation ideas on the ground.

After earning a bachelor’s degree in wildlife management from Texas Tech University, Katie spent over four years working in the wildlife management and research fields, building a diverse knowledge of and appreciation for the natural world. During this time, Katie became intrigued by people’s role in conservation, leading her to the University of Wyoming, where she earned a master’s degree in environment, natural resources, and society.

Katie finds joy in learning from other people’s experiences, teaching people about the natural world, backpacking, searching for wildlife, and fishing the waters of the West.
