Adam Nicholson

Adam Nicholson serves as the director of strategic donor partnerships at PERC, working with generous philanthropists to scale up market-based solutions to conserve our country’s spectacular and diverse wildlife, land, and water. Adam has worked with charitable donors and led non-profit efforts for over two decades to advance sustainable, win-win outcomes for people and the environment.

Adam was born in Dallas, Texas, and grew up in central North Carolina. Early in life, Adam developed a love for exploring wild and awe-inspiring places. He has enjoyed hiking, ski-touring, mountaineering, and fly-fishing from the Appalachians to the High Sierra, from the Adirondacks to the Cascades, and from the White Mountains to the Tetons.

He has served on the board of one of the oldest mountaineering clubs in the country and is a range safety officer at one of the premier local long-range shooting facilities near Washington, DC.
