Kathleen Staks

Kathleen Staks has been the Program Coordinator for Open Space at Great Outdoors Colorado for the past two and a half years. She runs grant programs that fund conservation work across the state by land trusts and local government open space programs. Prior to her work at GOCO, she worked for the Colorado Coalition of Land Trusts on conservation policy and education. Kathleen has her law degree from the University of Denver and an undergraduate degree in Journalism from Southern Methodist University. Kathleen grew up in Dallas, Texas and now lives in Denver with her husband, Lukas, and two dogs, Kaya and Kirby.
