Jonathan Stober

Jonathan Stober is a Conservation Biologist at the Joseph W. Jones Ecological Research Center at Ichauway in southwest Georgia.  Since joining the Jones Center in 1999 he has established a mitigation population of Red-cockaded Woodpeckers and developed a comprehensive inventory and monitoring program for the entire Ichauway landbase. He previously worked for the Georgia Department of Natural Resources as a private lands wildlife biologist.  Stober received his B.S. in Biology at the University of Georgia in1992 and a M.S. in Forest Resources from the Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources in 1996. He is currently a member of the Swamp Gravy cast and member At-Large for the Georgia Chapter of the The Wildlife Society. Besides remodeling an old house, he enjoys walking in the woods with his wife and two children, downhill skiing, gardening but feels most complete working on the family farm.
