Yingyi Zhang

Yingyi is a conservation biologist in Fauna and Flora International (FFI) specializing in biodiversity conservation and natural resource management of protected areas in southern China. She has been working in this area for 7 years, having established a wide network of collaborators and partners ranging from local NGOs, government agencies and institutes to central government and international organizations, donors and enterprises. She is now managing three major ongoing projects on the conservation of endangered primate species and habitat, with the approach of multiple-stakeholders participation. Being a primatologist, Yingyi is also a member of Chinese Primate Specialists and has conducted field surveys on the behavior of wild species. Yingyi is a lover of outdoor and indoor sports like hiking, mountain climbing, swimming, badminton, yoga and pingpong.
