Julie Witherspoon

Julie brings knowledge of land use patterns and environmental management to Bio-Logical Capital’s strategic decisions and investment analysis. She helps the team evaluate and communicate business models that integrate social, ecological and economic systems on the land. Previously, as a project coordinator at Urban Villages, she helped with planning and pre-development activities for a model sustainable development in the Southeast. Julie received her bachelor’s degree in environmental studies from Washington University in St. Louis, and her master’s degree in environmental management from the Yale School of Forestry & Environmental Studies, where she focused on land use planning, policy and management.
