Henry N. Butler

Dr. Butler is a George Mason University Foundation Professor of Law and Dean at the George Mason University School of Law. His research and teachings focus on issues related to antitrust, contracting, health care, corporate governance, consumer protection, banking, insurance, environmental law and policy, and securities regulation. For more than 20 years, he has managed judicial education programs that teach judges the basics of economics, finance, accounting, statistics, and scientific methods. Dr. Butler is a member of the American Law & Economics Association, the Advisory Board of the Atlantic Legal Foundation, and is an Honorary Member of the American College of Business Court Judges.
