Lucy Roberts Henry

Lucy Roberts Henry is an editor for American Journal Experts, reviewing papers written by foreign scientists who are seeking publication in English-language journals. Her focus is on agriculture and the environment. Previously she worked in a variety of natural resource management, international development, and research institutes. Most recently, Roberts Henry worked for the Nicholas Institute for the Environment and Earth Sciences, where she was involved with assessing agricultural greenhouse gas quantification and mitigation. She has also worked with the Albemarle-Pamlico National Estuary Programfor the NC Department of Environment and Natural Resources (NCDENR) and the Initiative for Social Action and Renewal in Eurasia (ISAR) as a program officer managing programs that engage the public inwatershed management. She began her career in the field of international development, managing programs focused on civil society, international partnership, and the environment. She has worked in the country of Georgia asa non-profit program manager and in Washington, D.C. as a program officer and then a co-executive director of a non-profit organization. Roberts Henry holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in international studies with a specialization in Russian literature and language from Middlebury College and a Master of Environmental Management from Duke University’s Nicholas School of the Environment and Earth Sciences with a specialization in conservation science and policy. She is also a cross-country ski racer, cellist, wife and mother.
