Daniel Arcila Ramos

Daniel Arcila Ramos is an economist and graduate of the National University of Colombia. He started his professional career working for the Agricultural National Exchange, promoting and creating new instruments to finance agricultural activities through capital markets. Later, he had the opportunity to work for a climate change firm, promoting the Clean Development Mechanism of the Kyoto protocol in Latin American countries as well as focusing on forestry and land-use projects. Currently   Daniel is designing incentives for private land conservation in Colombia, Ecuador and Venezuela, using market-based incentives for conservation.
