Zoe Carlson

Zoë Carlson is currently pursuing her Master’s of Environmental Science and Management at the Bren School. Through the Eco-entrepreneurship program she is developing a business that applies financial mechanisms to groundwater management. She has worked for five years in the field of conservation with the Natural Resources Conservation Service and Resource Conservation District of Santa Cruz County. Her passion for water resource management was catalyzed through her work with agricultural growers and conservation projects in California. Zoë obtained her Bachelor’s of Science in Earth Systems Science and Policy, magna cum laude, at California State University Monterey Bay. Zoë is an artist currently expressing herself through capoeira, Afro-Brazilian dance, and Brazilian batucada drumming.
