Who should apply?
Would you like to discover ways to make your environmental enemies become your environmental friends? Do you enjoy thinking outside the box? Do you need more effective communication skills? Do you like to create win-win situations for the environment? Do you wish you had more business acumen? Do you want to find ways to help antagonistic groups collaborate? Do you want to learn ways to make capitalism work for the environment?
If these ideas intrigue you, and you are an early/mid-career conservation leader with at least three years experience who is:
- eager to learn how markets, contracts, and property rights can be harnessed to improve the environment;
- creative, open minded, and in search of new and innovative approaches to environmental quality;
- appreciative of the serendipity that can come from working in teams with first-rate peers;
- curious about the idea that certain business principles can be put to good use in non-profit organizations/NGOs; and
- committed to a career in environmental stewardship,
then we think PERC’s Enviropreneur Camp is a place for you, and
we hope you will apply.
