Railroads were instrumental in creating America's national parks. Originally hatched as a way to get tourists to board trains headed West, the national park idea was to generate profits. Today, our National Park Service faces a $12 billion backlog. PERC's Terry Anderson talks to John Batchelor about how to generate revenue for our national parks, free the parks from politics, and get politics out of the parks.
